You have the ability to post job listings for various properties using a single account. It is important to input the accurate postcode for each job listing to guarantee it is directed to a freelancer in the local area.
Are my contact details safe?
One of the advantages of the Everijob system is that you only share contact information with freelancers if you are interested in obtaining a quote after reviewing their profile, bid and reviews. Prior to that, all communication is securely conducted through the site.
Replies From Freelancers
When will I receive replies?
Freelancers who are interested will usually respond within a few hours after you have posted the job. In certain cases, it may be beneficial to wait for up to 24 hours. Including photos with your job posting can enhance the likelihood of receiving more replies.
How many replies will I get?
The number of replies you get will depend on several factors including:
• The nature of the job
• The job's location
• The description and accompanying photos
You can stop further replies from freelancers any time.
Shortlisting Freelancers
What is shortlisting?
Facilitating the process for you to share contact information with a freelancer for further project discussions or to schedule a quote. We confirm your phone number to guarantee the freelancers can contact you.
Do I need a telephone number to shortlist?
To shortlist a freelancer, it is necessary for you to validate your telephone number.
Is my telephone number shared with anyone else?
Your contact details are only shared with freelancers that you have selected.
I am not happy with the work, what now?
Most customers typically have a positive experience when hiring a freelancer through Everijob. However, there are instances where issues arise, or difficulties are encountered by the Freelancersrs.
To begin with, it is advisable to directly communicate with the freelancers and attempt to find a solution that satisfies both parties. Most freelancers genuinely want their customers to be satisfied with their work and will be eager to resolve any problems amicably. It is important to address the issue objectively and without letting emotions cloud the discussion, while also referring to any relevant evidence.
Although we cannot enforce resolutions, we can suggest a few steps that may assist in resolving any outstanding issues with the freelancers.
1. Contact the freelancers directly: If you haven't already done so, we recommend reaching out to the freelancers to discuss the problem directly. A simple conversation about your concerns and desired resolution can often lead to a quick and mutually agreeable solution.
2. Leave a review: Reviews hold great value, not only for us but also for our network. By leaving a review on our website or app, we can monitor the quality of our freelancers. Most importantly, reviews help other customers make informed decisions. Your review could also prompt the freelancers to address any unresolved matters directly with you.
3. Allow the freelancers time to respond to your complaint and address your concerns. If you are unable to reach a resolution and seek our advice, please contact us. While we cannot mediate, we will strive to provide clear and impartial information about your options. To offer better guidance, please include answers to the following questions:

About Identity Verification
To maintain the security of the Everijob marketplace and build trust between Employers and Freelancers, we strongly recommend that Employers undergo identity verification.
The following information is required for verification:
- Contact Information
- Current Photograph
- Government-issued Photo ID
- Proof of Address
Upon submission of the above details, our team will review them and inform you of the verification status within two business days.
If you are unable or hesitant to provide this information, please reach out to us so we can explore alternative options together.

- The name provided in the contact information must match the name on your government-issued ID.
- The name and address provided in the contact information must match the details in the proof of address.

Submitting your Documents
To complete the ID Verification process, it is essential to submit all the necessary documents. To ensure a smooth experience, please follow the steps below:
Begin by accessing the "Edit My Account" section and navigate to the "ID Verification" tab. Click on the "Start" button to initiate the process.
1. Provide the following contact information for verification purposes:
- Mobile Number (a text message will be sent to verify the number)
- Legal Name
- Residential Address
2. Upload a recent photo of yourself, taken within the last 90 days.
3. Submit a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a Driver's License, Passport, Voter ID, or National ID.
4. Additionally, submit proof of your current address. You can choose to upload any of the following documents:
- Utility Bill (electricity, water, internet, mobile phone, etc.) issued within the last 90 days
- National ID Card
- Insurance Card, etc.
Please take note of the following guidelines:
- Ensure that the images/documents are in their original colour and have not been edited or cropped.
- The ID should be clearly visible in the image, with all four corners visible.
- Both sides of the ID should be submitted.
- The name provided in the contact information must match the name on the government-issued ID.
- The name and address provided in the contact information must match the information on the proof of address.

Review and Verification
Upon submission of the information, we will thoroughly review it. This process may take up to two business days.

Account Limits
If we have prompted you to complete your ID Verification (via an alert on your Dashboard or email), certain actions such as posting jobs, adding payment methods, or making transactions may be restricted until verification is completed.
Failure to complete your ID Verification as requested may result in the holding of your funds and, in some cases, even account termination.
Once your verification is successfully completed, all account limits will be removed, granting you full access to all features in your account.
Reviewing Freelancers
How can I review a freelancer?
If you have posted a job on Everijob, you have the privilege to provide feedback about the freelancers you hired through the site. This serves as a commendable method to acknowledge excellent work and ensure accountability among freelancers. To leave feedback, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account and navigate to the My Jobs page.
2. Locate the specific job and select the freelancers involved, then click on the Leave Feedback button.
If you haven't posted a job on Everijob but still wish to leave feedback, please refer to the next question.
I didn't post a job; can I leave feedback?
If you have not posted a job on Everijob, you will not have the ability to provide feedback on the site. This is an essential aspect that ensures the reliability of our feedback system. Nevertheless, you can still share your experience with a freelancer by sending us feedback at needhelp@everijob.com. Please note that this feedback will not be displayed on their public profile. However, we may consider it when evaluating the freelancer’s membership.
What are references?
Upon joining Everijob, freelancers initially lack any feedback. They are allowed to request references from a maximum of two previous customers, which will be displayed on their profile. However, these references are explicitly labelled as such and not considered as feedback. While we acknowledge the value of references for customers, they do not offer the same level of reassurance as feedback.
Disputes and problems
How do I report a missed appointment?
Freelancers are required to show courtesy towards job posters and inform them in case they cannot make it to a scheduled appointment. In the event of a freelancers not showing up, please reach out to us so we can document your complaint on their account. We closely observe reliability, and individuals who repeatedly fail to fulfil their commitments may face suspension.
Can freelancers be removed from Everijob?
In rare instances, freelancers may be removed from Everijob. Our Freelancers accounts are constantly monitored, and we take pride in maintaining a reliable network of freelancers. When there are consistent negative reviews and serious complaints about a freelancer, appropriate action is taken. This is why your reviews play a crucial role in the Everijob experience. By providing fair and honest feedback, customers help us assess the quality of our network and assist others in making informed decisions. Alongside reviews, we also investigate complaints and other information to ensure the safety of our users. If a freelancer’s use of Everijob poses a risk to others, we will restrict their Freelancers account.

Everijob assists freelancers in achieving success. Here's the process:
- Register for a Freelancers profile (it's free): Provide your location and the type of work you specialise in. Receive email notifications (free of charge) when new jobs matching your preferences are posted on the platform.
- Show interest: Browse through local leads and show interest in the ones you would like to submit a quote for.
- Get shortlisted: Employers will shortlist you if they are interested in speaking with you after reviewing your profile. We verify phone numbers before they are shared.
- Receive feedback: After completing a job, Employers return to the site to leave a review about the service they received. Accumulate positive reviews from satisfied customers to increase your chances of winning more work through the platform!

How can I join?
It's simple to join us. Just sign up on this platform. You will be required to provide some fundamental details about your company such as your location and the services you offer.
Winning profile
Your Freelancers profile serves as your storefront, so it is crucial to invest time in completing it thoroughly. There are five key sections that need to be filled out:
Introduction: Briefly introduce yourself, your company (if any), and highlight your experience, service quality, and unique selling points.
About: This is the perfect opportunity to showcase the types of work you undertake, mention any interesting projects you've completed, and effectively promote the services you offer.
Photo gallery: Display your best work to potential clients, including a variety of project types. Add captions to explain each photo and showcase completed projects with all final changes which appeals to Employers.
Qualifications: List your Freelancers qualifications, accreditations, and years of experience. Mention any relevant courses you have attended and any Freelancers bodies you are a member of.
Insurance: If you have public liability or professional indemnity insurance, include the details to assure potential clients that you're covered. Simply visit your insurance page to add the necessary information about your policy.
ID Verification
About ID Verification
To ensure the security of Everijob as a trusted marketplace for Employers and Freelancers, we are implementing a new requirement for all Freelancers to verify their identity. As part of the ID Verification process on Everijob, Freelancers will need to provide the following information:
1. ID Information:
- Contact Information
- Current Photo
- Government Issued Photo ID
- Proof of Address
Please note the following:
- None of the information provided for ID Verification will be sold or publicly displayed.
- The name provided in the contact information must match the name on your government issued photo ID.
- The name and address provided in the contact information must match the information in the proof of address.
- If you do not have any All-Time Transaction Data, Employers will be able to see your ID Verification status with your Quote. This helps build trust with Employers when you don't have a transaction history on Everijob.

The ID Verification process consists of three steps:
I. ID Information
1. Verify Contact Information
Provide the following details for verification:
- Mobile Number (a text message will be sent for verification)

3. Submit Government Issued Photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, Voter ID, National ID, etc.)
4. Submit Proof of Address
Upload a copy of any of the following documents:

2. National ID Card
3. Insurance Card
4. Bank Statement
5. Credit Card Statement, etc.

Account Limits
If you have received a prompt from us, either via email or an alert on your dashboard, to complete your ID Verification, you will be unable to send Quotes or transfer funds until the verification process is finalized.
Failure to complete the ID Verification as requested may result in the holding of your funds and, in certain cases, may lead to account termination.

Initially, we kindly request your understanding and patience. Numerous factors can contribute to the unavailability of the customer. We kindly urge you to refrain from continuously calling but attempt to reach out at various times during the day. It is important to remember to leave a voicemail or send a text message. In the event that you are unable to establish contact even after 7 days, please reach out to us here.
Expressing Interest
Can I express interest in any of the leads on the site?
Indeed, members have the ability to indicate their interest in any leads on the platform that align with their preferences.
How much interest does each lead receive?
There is no restriction on the quantity of freelancers who can show interest in a lead. Customers will take down their job posting once they have received sufficient interest. Leads are allowed to remain on the site for up to 14 days, at which point they will be taken down automatically.
Shortlisting
What is shortlisting?
After showing interest in a lead, the homeowner will determine whether to include you in the shortlist after reviewing your profile. Being included in the shortlist entails the exchange of contact information. To confirm their authenticity, Employers are required to verify their phone number before shortlisting any individual.
Profiles & Feedback
What makes a great profile?
To assist you in maximizing your return on investment from membership, the top section of your profile page displays the recommended steps you have finished and those that still need to be completed. Having a profile that is 100% complete increases your chances of securing work opportunities.
Why is a profile picture required?
Employers value transparency and want to be familiar with the main freelancers they are engaging with. Therefore, it is mandatory for every Freelancers account to have a profile picture of the main freelancers, whose name is listed in the contact details of the account.
Can I change my profile picture?
Changing the main freelancers of an account is not feasible, which also means that altering the profile picture to another individual is not an option.
How can I ask a customer to rate me?
If you have successfully completed a job through Everijob but have not yet received feedback, you can prompt your customer to provide feedback by sending a reminder. Simply navigate to the shortlisted leads page, select the job you completed, and click on the "Request Feedback" button.
Job Alerts
What are job alerts & how can I receive them?
We provide job alerts to keep you informed about new job opportunities that match your specific interests. To activate job alerts, simply click on the verification link in the registration email we have sent you. If you cannot locate the email, you have the option to request another one from the job alerts page.
How can I change the number of jobs alerts I receive?
We will only send you notifications for new jobs that fall under your selected categories of interest and are within your preferred travelling distance. You have the flexibility to manage your job alerts by starting or stopping them directly from the job alerts page.
I've activated job alerts, but am not receiving emails?
In some instances, our job alerts may be filtered out by strict spam settings. Please check your spam folder for our emails and mark them as "not spam". Additionally, we recommend adding "no-reply@everijob.com" to your contacts to ensure smooth delivery of alerts. If you continue to face issues despite following these steps, please reach out to us for further assistance.
